How to Install dbview software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

dbview software package provides View dBase III files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dbview

dbview is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dbview package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dbview *

You will get with dbview package name, version, architecture and description in a table
